2) General Sales Conditions

General Sales Conditions

1- General:

These General Sales Conditions shall govern all contractual relationships between Sciknowledge Education (VAT No. ESE70824305), hereinafter “Sciknowledge,” and any natural or legal person registering for or acquiring services related to conferences, congresses, courses, or sponsorships organised by Sciknowledge.

Any registration, payment, or contractual request addressed to Sciknowledge implies full and irrevocable acceptance of these Conditions. Such acceptance extends to all present and future transactions between the parties, except where revised conditions have been formally communicated by Sciknowledge.

Lack of enforcement of any clause by Sciknowledge at a given moment shall not constitute a waiver of rights.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction. These Conditions shall be governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable to the attendee.

2- Prices:

All registration fees published on the official conference websites are expressed in Euros, inclusive of applicable VAT, and remain valid unless affected by manifest typographical error.

The applicable fee tier shall be determined exclusively by the effective date on which payment is received.

Student fees are strictly limited to participants enrolled in Bachelor, Master, or PhD programmes. Postdoctoral researchers are expressly excluded.

Listener registration shall be subject to the same fees as Business Poster Delegates.

The accompanying person category is limited to spouses, partners, or children and shall not apply to authors or co-authors of scientific works.

3- Methods of payment:

Payments may be effected through one of the following methods:
(a) Bank Transfer
Account Holder: In Proforma Invoice
All transaction costs, currency conversion fees, and bank charges shall be borne exclusively by the attendee. Sciknowledge must receive the full net amount owed.
(b) Credit or Debit Card
Through the secure payment gateway provided on the relevant conference website.
(c) PayPal
Payments shall be addressed to info@sciknowledge-conferences.com.
An additional 24 EUR shall be added to cover PayPal processing fees.

4- Definition of the Product

The contractual product comprises the academic event, including conferences, congresses, and courses organised by Sciknowledge. Sciknowledge reserves the right to adjust fees based on organisational requirements.

5- Invoices:

Invoices should be received after Abstract Acceptation. Attendees are responsible for providing accurate invoicing data.

6. Presenters

By registering as an author, the attendee accepts that the scheduling of oral or poster presentations shall be determined exclusively by the Conference Organisation.

Requests for modification of assigned presentation slots shall only be considered when justified by duly documented delays related to visa issuance or flight disruptions.

Failure by the presenter to appear at the designated time shall result in the forfeiture of presentation rights, certificates, and any refund entitlement.
